B.I. Matters’ goal is to allow the straightforward interpretation of biodiversity big data, and identify new investment opportunities. Also, it implements an effective strategy, based on insights. It provides businesses-organizations with a competitive advantage and long-term stability.
B.I. Matters is based on the Business Intelligence Framework to store and process biodiversity data. It associates with the marine and coastal environment.
Common functions of Business Intelligence technologies of the “marine B.I. Matters” are reporting, online analytical processing, analytics, and data mining. Also, it processes mining, complex event processing, business performance management, benchmarking, text mining, predictive analytics, and prescriptive analytics. These functions can handle large amounts of structured and sometimes unstructured data to help identify, develop and create new strategic business and governmental opportunities.
