Security advises

Yahoo recommends users who haven’t changed their Yahoo passwords since 2014 do so.

Their spokesperson said that account holders should also change passwords and security questions. Additionally, they should also change the answers for any other account they have. Special interest to those accounts that they use the same or similar information to their Yahoo account.

In addition, cautioned users to avoid clicking on links or downloading attachments from suspicious emails that claim to be updated from Yahoo about the breach.
